On Maundy Thursday, we go with Jesus and the disciples into the Upper Room where Jesus gives them his example of servanthood by washing their feet. He take bread and win, interpreting his coming death through this sacrament that will carry his continued presence into the new world. Then his friend, Judas, betrays him. We strip the altar, and leave in darkened silence.
We will hold a Mediterranean meal at 6 p.m. which will included roasted lamb, roasted potatoes, pita bread, Greek salad and dessert. $6 per person.
Service will begin at 6:45 p.m.
