The mission of Northeast Georgia Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) is to provide training, supervision and resources for volunteers to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children within our communities.
Circle of Hope
A local ministry that seeks to support, empower, and bring hope to those affected by domestic violence.
Family Resource Center of Northeast Georgia
Their mission is to prevent child abuse, nurture children, and strengthen families in Habersham, White, Rabun, Stephens and Banks Counties. We provide a wide range of services in an attempt to keep families together and provide an educational parenting experience.
Camp Mikell
Our diocesan retreat center that seeks to build a community of belonging, safety, discovery, spiritual growth, and unconditional love in a beautiful and natural setting by way of a faith-based summer camp for children and youth, an outdoor education center for school groups, and a conference center for gatherings and retreats of all types.
The Hope Center
Bringing hope to our community through offering a wide range of services to help meet the essential needs, education advancement, counseling of individuals and families in Northeast Georgia.
AA Toccoa Fellowship Group
The undercroft under the Chapel of St. Matthias’ serves as the site for daily AA meetings, whose primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics achieve sobriety. A list of their meeting times are in the link below.
The Equal Justice Initiative
The Equal Justice Initiative is committed to ending mass incarceration and excessive punishment in the United States, to challenging racial and economic injustice, and to protecting basic human rights for the most vulnerable people in American society.
